The bottom step isn't connected to the ground in standard scissor stairs, which gives the distinct wobbly feeling when you're climbing. The diving board motion is dangerous and unsafe, and the distance between the bottom step and the ground means you'll need a booster step. However, you don't need to worry about those problems thanks to Torklift GlowStep Revolution 4- steps and its adjustable landing gear legs and base. Now climbing or getting off scissor stairs is safer, and the great thing is that it doesn't involve any complicated mechanics. All you need to do to release the stairs is pull the lever, which allows you to quickly store, retract, adjust, and extend the steps. The steps are secured with the help of a bail pin in the retracted or extended position and you can easily adjust the height of the steps once you release the steps, so that the gap between the ground and the bottom steps can be bridged. You get 3 height positions, which offer 2 inches of adjustability, and all you need to do to get to the desired height is pull the stairs. There isn't any need for a booster step, since the GlowStep Revolution eliminates the gap between the ground and your RV. The stairs are stabilized with the help of 2 landing gears that extend to the ground, ensuring a comfortable climb. The legs can be individually adjusted so that the GlowStep is stable on any terrain, without any swaying or shaking.
